One of the fringe benefits of running exciting events is the opportunity for great photos. Ideally, your event will feature many supporters who believe in your mission, enjoying themselves and looking happy. These joyful gathering photographs can be invaluable for followup (e.g., social media posts), AGM PowerPoints, and future promotional materials.
Pamela loves to photograph worship services and other events. Years of documenting LTS through photos and videos – together with photographing countless ordinations, installations, and other events – has provided her with a wide skill-set for this type of photography:
- knowing how to capture the action without being intrusive
- being able to get decent photographs in poor lighting without flash
- anticipating good shots and being in the right place to take them
- marshalling a crowd together for group shots
Many of my event photos can be seen on the LTS Facebook (until summer 2016) or my own Facebook. I can also provide links to online albums of many others if you are interested.
(The ordination photograph on this page was actually taken by my trusty assistant, Dad. At that moment, I was on the floor at the front of the sanctuary getting close-ups. Landscapes throughout this website were taken on my travels.)
Amy Lo, another photographer, caught me shooting from behind the piano at the ordination of Rev. Dorothy Chu, 2014.
